A shooting incident took place on Sunday evening in the Vlaamshoofdlaan on Linkeroever. A car was probably fired on with an alarm pistol.

“I heard four bangs,” says a neighbor who lives near the intersection of Vlaamshoofdlaan and Galgenweellaan.
“I heard screeching tires and looked out,” said a witness. “I saw three people walking behind a car, they shot at least three or four times at the car.”
“We received a report of a shooting,” confirms police spokesman Willem Migom. “Traces have also been found that indicate this.”
According to the first information, no bullet hits or victims were found in the street. That suggests that the target could have escaped the shooting.
Probably a car was shot with an alarm gun. The police still searched with different teams and with the support of the helicopter for both suspects and victims, for the time being without result. “The investigation is ongoing,” says Migom.
