The football curiosity gives Union fans ideas. Two fans climbed onto a 12 meter high tree on the forest side at the Alte Försterei stadium – so as to catch at least a glimpse of Union’s ghost game. Unfortunately did not work. A police spokeswoman: “A person was taken to the identity check.”
All other curious people were fair and sporty around the game. Around 100 fans were at the entrance to the stadium on Wuhlheide 1.5 hours before kick-off. They wanted to catch a glimpse of the team buses. Union rolled on at 4.34 p.m., the Bayern bus arrived at 4.38 p.m. Then the small cluster dissolved.

Fans appeared from time to time on the forest side, rarely more than 20 at the same time. The police (3 team coaches, a team of horses, a total of 400 officers on duty) asked to continue.
Otherwise it was very quiet. Player commands from the stadium were clearly heard, including goal celebrations. Many had the feeling: So close and yet so far away.
