SERAMBINEWS.COM – The police were shocked by the discovery of a child who was locked up in a dog cage on Wednesday (6/24/2020).
The 18-month-old toddler is locked up in a dirty cage surrounded by garbage and other animals that are also locked up.
Police then arrested three adults who were in the house to be responsible for alleged neglect of children and violence against animals.
Reported by commercialappeal.com, Friday (6/26/2020), Initially the police came to the house on the street Dale Cemetery, Henry County, Florida, United States because of reports of violence on animals.
But they did not expect that they would find a child who was found in poor condition.
The toddler is locked in a cage with an area of about 1 x 1 meter around which is filled with garbage, insects and a number of animals in the cage.
On the floor around and inside the cage itself there are dog feces, urinary marks and cockroaches.
Even near where the toddler is, there is a snake that is also locked up in a cage.
Sheriff Henry County, Monte Belew said that the snake has a length of about 3 meters and would be dangerous for the toddler.
“(The snake) could have attacked the child if the opportunity arose,” Belew said.
