Jakarta

The National Police explained that related to CCTV in the police shooting case that killed Brigadier Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J at Inspector General Ferdi Sambo’s house. The police explained about the damaged CCTV and CCTV found elsewhere.

“There are still circulating in several media that say that CCTV is damaged, then why was another CCTV found? I need to clarify this so I can no longer speculate, thus making this issue unclear,” said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo on the sidelines of the pre-reconstruction of the case at the shelter. Sambo at Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, Saturday (23/7/2022).

Dedi said the damaged CCTV was at the Sambo halfway house, which was the scene of the crime (TKP) case of the police shooting the police. This, said Dedi, is the same as what the South Jakarta Metro Police Chief said some time ago.

Meanwhile, Dedi added that the CCTV found by investigators was CCTV along the path to the scene. The evidence for the instructions is being investigated by the National Police Laboratory.

“The damaged CCTV, like what the South Jakarta Police Chief said, this is the CCTV at the TKP. But the CCTV along this route, along the TKP, was found by investigators,” he said.

Dedi said investigators from the special team had also found CCTV footage from Magelang to the Sambo halfway house.

“Likewise yesterday I said, CCTV along the road from Magelang to the TKP here has also been found by investigators,” he said.

He said checking the CCTV clue evidence takes time. Currently, Labfor is still conducting the process of checking and matching the time.

“Now it is still in the process of being examined by Labfor to match, calibrate the time. Because the time on CCTV and real time must be the same time,” he added.

The National Police stated that they had found clues in the form of CCTV footage related to the case of a shootout at Inspector General Ferdy Sambo’s house that killed Brigadier Nofriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J.
