Police officers in the Zaporozhye region found artillery shells in a building around which the area was mined. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“In the Zaporozhye region, police discovered artillery shells in a building surrounded by a minefield,” the report says.
Another cache was discovered on the outskirts of the village of Razdol, Mikhailovsky district. It contained 50 NATO 155 mm artillery ammunition. Employees of the engineering and technical group of the OMON of the Russian Guard arrived at the scene.
“During mine clearance, sappers discovered and neutralized 20 MON-200 anti-personnel mines and 10 MON-90 anti-personnel mines,” the department added.
Found ammunition and mines will be disposed of.
