According to police, Seagoville police officers located a woman who recently escaped from Hutchins State Jail. Officers tried to arrest her around 11 p.m., but she continued to escape and a nearly one-hour chase ensued.
Police said the chase went from I-45 into downtown Dallas, on I-35E to I-67 and west on I-20 before finally ending on Beltline Road between Maritime Way and Eagle Ford Drive. .
During the chase, the police learned that the suspicious vehicle had been stolen by people who are known to have had shootings with the police.
The chase ended quickly without incident. The suspects, a man and a woman, had outstanding arrest warrants, police said.
