On Thursday, July 9th, 2020, at 12:54 p.m., a traffic accident occurred in the main street of Schauren, the cause of which was removed from the scene of the accident without permission. According to witness information, an older, dark vehicle coming from the location should have traveled the main road in the direction of the B421. At a narrow point at the level of Hauptstraße 46, this vehicle touched the right wing mirror of an Opel Astra that was properly parked on the right side of the lane and damaged it considerably. As a result, the polluter vehicle is said to have stopped briefly but then continued the journey without worrying about the damage caused. The responsible driver is said to have been an approximately 60-year-old lady with blonde hair.
