Search for witnesses after a clothing store robbery: Who knows the robber with the red and white jacket? – Wächtersbach
(lei) A 35 to 40-year-old man with a strong build and dark complexion stole several hundred euros in cash on Tuesday evening when he robbed a clothing store on Main-Kinzig-Strasse.
The approximately 1.60 meter tall stranger, who was wearing a red and white jacket with a black stripe in the middle and dark trousers, entered the branch at around 8 p.m. during the course of the store closing, pushed back a 48-year-old employee and demanded handing over cash under a foreign accent and an apparent silver gun. He then took this out of the register, then ran to a neighboring parking lot, where he got on a motorcycle that was apparently provided and fled with it. The robber also wore a black mouth and nose cover, sunglasses and black shoes.
A police helicopter was also used in the search for him.
The criminal police in Gelnhausen have taken over the investigation and are now asking for information about the perpetrator on 06051 827-0.
