De PlayStation 5 pre-order was quite chaotic expired. Within minutes the console was completely sold out at the major web stores. There is still a chance to receive the PS5 console on the release date and to order the console early in the Netherlands. In this article a number of possibilities that will appear for a pre-order of the latest console which will be released on November 19 for a starting price of € 399.99.
PlayStation 5 variations
The PlayStation 5 will appear in two versions. This includes the PS5 Digital Edition and the regular PlayStation 5. The PS5 Digitial Edition will be sold for € 399.99. The regular PlayStation 5 including Blue-ray disk will be sold for € 499.99. There is no difference in terms of hardware and speed.
When available?
The PS5 will be launched in the Netherlands and Belgium from November 19th. On this date, the first deliveries will be sent and received. For the time being, the stock is extremely limited, so new orders that appear after November 19 are expected to be available later. According to Sony, new copies will be added, giving you a chance to receive a PS5 on release date.
PlayStation 5 pre-order
The PlayStation 5 pre-order is now sold out and hardly available. Sony indicates that new deliveries will be coming soon, so that consumers can still expect a copy. The best chance for this is with the larger retailers such as Amazon and Bol.com. Update: Amazon also announces that there will be a second round for the PlayStation 5 in the Netherlands.
To lend a hand, we’ll keep updating this post as soon as new stock becomes available. With cancellations it is possible that pre-orders will be released. Keep in mind that the stock of the PS5 is limited, and therefore the stock will be sold out quickly.
Order on November 18th
On November 18 it is possible to order the console as a pre-order from a number of online stores that have not accepted pre-orders. In the Netherlands, this will happen at CoolBlue and BCC.
At Coolblue it is possible to order the console on November 18 via the Coolblue site. BCC is expected to take orders from November 19.
For consumers in Belgium, the console will go on sale separately at 40 Belgian Carrefour supermarkets on 19 November.
Update: At the MediaMarkt, pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 are again being accepted in the physical stores. It is also known that all PS5 pre-orders from MediaMarkt will be shipped at the Dutch launch.
