TOP STORY: Pjanic ready to take pay cut for Juve transfer
As previously mentioned in this blog, Juventus are looking to strengthen their midfield, with AS Monaco Aurélien Tchouameni and that of Borussia Dortmund Axel Witsel among their favorite options. However, another player who has been constantly linked throughout this transfer window is the runaway Barcelona man. Miralem Pjanic.
As there seems to be competition for the transfer, Transfer market reports that the Bosnia-Herzegovina international is ready to accept a pay cut to return to Turin, where he played from 2016 to 2020.
The 31-year-old has a Camp Nou contract worth € 8million per season, and is said to be ready to touch € 3million of that total to change clubs. Whether this plays a role in Juventus’ decision-making, Calciomercato suggests Pjanic is in pole position to join them.
It has been a difficult time in Catalonia for Pjanic, who has only benched in one of Barca’s three La Liga games this season, despite only managing 13 starts in all competitions last season. . Besides all of the aforementioned names, Bayern Munich Corentin Tolisso and lyonnais Houssem Aouar are exterior options to join the Bianconeri.

– Gianluca Scamaca has already had the interest of Internazionale and Juventus, but the man from Sassuolo should join Cagliari, reports Transfer market. The forward, who impressed on loan at Genoa last season, will join them for an initial loan fee of € 1million, with an option to make the transfer permanent for an additional fee of around 26-27 millions of euros.

– Philippe Kostic may have tried to force the transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt to Lazio, but the Bundesliga side are not budging yet.
