Piura: they order the expulsion of 11 foreigners with irregular immigration status

The National Superintendence of Migration, through the Piura Zonal Headquarters, ordered the expulsion of 11 foreign citizens of Colombian (2) and Venezuelan (9) nationalities with irregular immigration status, after the application of the Exceptional Special Administrative Sanctioning Procedure (PASEE).

The foreigners were intervened during two operations carried out in conjunction with the State and Highway Security Unit of the National Police of Peru (PNP) and the Superintendency of Land Transportation of People, Cargo and Goods (Sutran), in the Children’s Park – Miguel Cortés in the district of Piura and in the former Bayóvar toll, at kilometer 983 of the Pan-American Highway.

The sanctioned foreigners were placed at the disposal of the PNP, who carried out the expulsion measure. These people, additionally, are prevented from entering the national territory for a period of fifteen (15) years.

These actions reflect the commitment of Migrations and the authorities to maintain security and immigration order in the Piura region.

So far this year, the Piura Zonal Headquarters issued more than 90 mandatory departure and expulsion orders to foreign citizens for entering the country irregularly or violating Legislative Decree No. 1350 – Migration Law and its Regulations.

Likewise, Migrations reaffirms its commitment to continue working together with the National Police of Peru, the Public Ministry and other public institutions, focusing efforts according to hours and areas after evaluating the crime map.
