One year after the tour Brothers, Emmanuel Ray and his troop set out again on the roads of Eure-et-Loir with a new project.
This time it is about Pinocchio, by Joël Pommerat. On the stage set up for the occasion, the three actors will offer the public a theatrical reading. A sort of hybrid, neither too rigid nor too staged.
“It will remain a light form”
Each evening, it will be necessary to find the point of balance between fidelity to the text and the scenic fantasy. “We go a little further than with Brothers, there will be costumes, props. But it will remain a light form. We want reading to be a spectacle, ”confirms Emmanuel Ray.

The first meeting is set for this Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Château des Vauventriers park, in Champhol. The company will move until Sunday, September 19 in villages such as Fontaine-la-Guyon, Guainville, La Chapelle-du-Noyer, always outside, as for Brothers.

For this creation, Emmanuel Ray continues to follow a common thread by asking himself, over the years, the same questions: what to do with his life? Beyond the ephemeral reading, there is, on the part of the troupe, the will to perpetuate the show and to adapt it for more classic venues. Perhaps in the future “Off” theater in Chartres…
