“Euro NCAP” has given the new Qashqai 91% in the protection of both adult passengers and children, ranking it among the best in its competition group.

“Nissan Qashqai” offers several active safety assistance systems, including an emergency braking system that warns the driver and applies the brakes if the car anticipates a collision with a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist. This and other advanced safety technologies are available as standard equipment in the new Qashqai, not only in the most equipped versions.

In the new Qashqai, Nissan offers a projection display for the first time in Europe, which allows the driver to see the driving speed, navigation directions and current speed limits without taking their eyes off the road.

Intelligent adaptive headlights, which adjust the shape of the high-beam beam so as not to dazzle oncoming drivers, are another example of the Qashqai’s advanced technology that improves safety.

This car model is also equipped with the “blind spot” assist system, which detects when the driver has not noticed another vehicle in the adjacent lane, and actively steers the Qashqai back into his lane to save the driver from unnecessary trouble. Rear Cross Traffic Alert also helps prevent collisions, such as when reversing out of a parking space.

In addition to a wide range of intelligent technologies from Nissan, the standard equipment also includes, for example, rear parking sensors, automatic LED lights, heated side mirrors, a selection of driving modes and much more.

Even higher equipment levels (or as optional equipment, depending on the equipment level) available “Apple CarPlay”/”Android Auto”, wireless smartphone charger, heated steering wheel, heated windshield, intelligent key, 12.3-inch infotainment, audio and navigation system screen with Nissan connectivity services, a projection display that projects useful information on the windshield right in front of the driver’s eyes.
