Photo of the day: William and Harry unveiled a statue of their mother Lady Diana
Princes William and Harry unveiled a statue of their mother, Princess Diana, in Kensington Park today, the day she turned 60. We hope this will be a lasting memorial to her life and the legacy of her deeds, they said at the palace in central London, where she lived. The sculptural composition, commissioned in 2017, includes 3 children as a symbol of the “universality and effect on generations” of her work. William was 15 and Harry was 12 when their mother died in a crash in Paris in 1997.
