Sony Launches Smartphone-priced Wireless Headphones, Here’s What It Looks Like! : Okezone techno

APPARENTLY Sony officially launched wireless headphones, WF-1000XM4, the latest model in the 1000X series.

“Sony presents the industry-leading noise canceling WF-1000XM4 headphones supported by the Integrated Processor V1, a high-performance microphone with dual noise sensors, a new design on the 6mm driver unit, Automatic Wind Noise Reduction mode, as well as quality improvements in other features, “said PT Sony Indonesia President Director Kazuteru Makiyama at the online launch yesterday.

The device is equipped with Integrated Processor V1 with a new design that provides advanced noise cancellation. The Integrated Processor V1 leverages the noise cancellation performance of the QN1e chip.

This audio device is supported with a high performance microphone with dual noise sensors to provide the best noise cancellation.

The new design of the 6mm driver unit with a 20 percent increase in magnetic volume also enhances the noise canceling capabilities of the WF-1000XM4.

The device is also equipped with Automatic Wind Noise Reduction Mode which detects when it is windy and automatically reduces noise. Embedded also LDAC and DSEE Extreme which adds to the maximum audio experience.

There is also Speak-to-Chat which allows users to have short conversations without removing the earbuds. Speak-to-Chat automatically pauses music and plays ambient sounds so users can have conversations with headphones on. After the conversation is over, the music will play again automatically.

The WF-1000XM4 has a ‘Quick Attention’ mode that allows users to listen to announcements or have a short talk. There is also Adaptive Sound Control, a feature that detects the presence and activity of the user.

The headphones are equipped with Precise Voice Pickup Technology which provides better hands-free calling, with the WF-1000XM4 having a clearer and more stable Bluetooth connection.

The device can be used all day for 24 hours. Users can enjoy a full 8 hours of use from the headphones, and an additional 16 hours from the charging case.

There’s also 5-minute fast charging, giving users up to 60 minutes of music playtime, and the Sony | . app Headphones Connect will notify users when the charging case drops below 30 percent.

Power can be charged wirelessly. Users can use the battery sharing function with Qi-enabled phones to charge headphones and charging cases.

The WF-1000XM4 has an IPX4 waterproof rating, making the headphones resistant to splashes of water and sweat. The device features intuitive touch control settings to control the listening experience quickly and easily.

In the package, users will get 3 sizes of Noise Isolation Earbud Tips, as well as a USB-C charging cable.

As quoted from Antara, the WF-1000XM4 will be available in black and silver in Indonesia in August 2021 at a price of IDR 3.9 million. Wow, the price of a smartphone, huh?
