On the 75th birthday of Pēteris Vasks, a concert dedicated to the composer’s anniversary was performed live from the concert hall “Cēsis” with violinist Kristīne Balana and cellist Margarita Balana, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, the State Academic Choir “Latvija” and conductors Andris Pogu and Māris The concert was conducted by Eva Johansone, live – by Maruta Rubeze, offering talks with the artistic director of the concert hall “Cēsis” Inese Zagorska, conductors Andris Pogu and Māris Sirmo, Kristīne and Margarita Balanas, as well as Orestas Silabriedis.
