Recall that during this year’s Telekamer awards gala, TVN won six awards – they were received by Piotr Kraśko (news presenter), Bartek Jędrzejak (weather presenter), Przemek Kossakowski (TV personality), Małgorzata Socha (actress), Maciej Stuhr (actor) and the creators of the series “BrzydUla 2” (the best series).
TVP criticizes Telekamera. “Obvious act”
This turn of events did not appeal to Polish Television, which in a special statement, but also in the Thursday edition of “Wiadomości”, she expressed “disgust with the extremely unbelievable course of the plebiscite”. Strong words were said towards the organizer of Telekamer – Bauer Publishing House. “It mocked with the best will and honesty of TVP viewers participating in the plebiscite and turned Telekamery into a tool to fight against Polish Television, which TVP has already spoken by some other media operating in Poland” – it was written.
In it, TVN was called “the biggest loser of linear television in 2020”. The gala was called “an obvious act and the desperate struggle of TVN’s programming director, Mr. Miszczak, for survival”.
TVN: prizes awarded by their votes are the most valuable
Now, TVN Group Discovery has referred to the matter. In a special announcement, she thanked the viewers. “We would like to thank the viewers and internet users, because the prizes awarded by their votes are the most valuable, they best prove the impact of our productions, regardless of when, where, on what platform and device they are viewed by them“- emphasized Edward Miszczak, program director and member of the board of TVN.

It was also added that “the beginning of the spring season also brought excellent viewership results”, including “Fakt”, whose viewership made the group a leader among TV news programs, and the series “BrzydUla 2”.
