Peter Maffay cancels tour

On Saturday, Peter Maffay’s bassist fell off the stage at the concert in Hamburg and was seriously injured – now the keyboardist is still in the hospital. The two illnesses lead to the singer canceling all of his tour dates – and wanting to make up for them in the summer.

In a press release issued by management on Sunday, the reasons are as follows: “The reason is the accident of bassist Ken Taylor on Friday in Hamburg and a new hospital stay for keyboardist Pascal Kravetz. Ken Tylor fell off the stage shortly before the sound check and suffered a fractured thigh. ” The keyboarder is said to have been missing from the warm-up shows in Timmendorf. “As Pascal had to get medical help again today and the doctors advised him not to continue the tour, we have no choice but to postpone the shows ahead,” said Peter Maffay. “We make up all concerts in the summer.
