This is not the right time for airlines to resume the operation of international flights, because it has not been possible to control the spread of the COVID-19said the Minister of Transport and Communications (MTC), Carlos Estremadoyro.
“It’s like we’ve broken our leg and our cast has been removed, but we still can’t run. This is not the time to open international flights because we have not managed to contain the spread of the pandemic. When we manage to lower rates and have part of our hospital capacity unoccupied, we can only open international flights”, Said Estremadoyro in dialogue Canal N.
The minister’s statements came when he was supervising the progress in the construction of Line 2 of the Lima Metro in the Bellavista district, in Callao.
