Pertamina Gives Discounts to Premium Pertalite at 38 Gas Stations

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Pertamina (Persero) through Marketing Operation Region (MOR) III, provides promos in the form of discounts on mineral fuel product prices ( BBM) type Pertalite specifically in the South Tangerang area.

Unit Manager Communication Relations and CSR MOR III Eko Kristiawan, said the promo was given to encourage a shift in consumption of Premium fuel to Pertalite.

To increase the interest of the people of South Tangerang to use Pertalite, Pertamina has provided a price discount from IDR 7,650 per liter to IDR 6,450 per liter, or the equivalent of Premium.

This promo is valid at 38 gas stations in the South Tangerang area for consumers of two-wheeled and three-wheeled motorized vehicles, city public transportation (angkot) and yellow plate taxis.

“Apart from two-wheeled and three-wheeled motorized vehicles, Pertamina also targets yellow-plate angkot and taxis which are public transportation, so that it is expected to become an example for the public to care more about the environment and switch to quality fuels,” said Eko in a written statement, quoted Monday. Despite holding a Pertalite price promo, Pertamina still provides Premium in the South Tangerang area, namely at gas stations located in Pondok Cabe, Cirendeu, Rawa Buntu, and Pondok Jagung. In addition, Ciputat, Pamulang and Sawah Lama.

In addition to the Pertalite discount promo, Pertamina is holding various other fuel purchase promos during September 2020.

Like the program cashback 30 percent for the purchase of Pertamax, Pertamax Turbo and Pertamina Dex using the MyPertamina application.

“This 30 percent cashback is valid for a maximum of IDR 10,000 per account during the promo period,” said Eko.

The cashback program was also provided by Pertamina to encourage people to switch from Premium fuel.

Eko explained that higher quality fuel has a high octane (Research Octane Number / RON) content, so it is more environmentally friendly because it has low emissions.

“In addition, higher quality fuel will have a positive impact on vehicle performance and more efficient fuel consumption because the combustion in the engine room is more perfect,” he said.
