New owner puzzle Exactly Solo answered. Son of the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo, Kaesang Pangarep, became a shareholder of Laskar Sambernyawa.
This was revealed in the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) of PT Persis Solo Saestu (PSS) which was held at the Alila Hotel, Solo, Saturday (20/3/2021) at 09.00 WIB. Persis’ new management consists of important people, starting from Kaesang Pangarep, the Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir and also Kevin Nugroho.
Kaesang Pangarep, Erick Thohir, and Kevin Nugroho attended the EGMS of PT Exactly Solo. Regarding the details of PT PSS’s share ownership, among others, Kaesang recorded a share ownership of 40 percent, then Kevin as much as 30 percent.
Meanwhile, Erick Thohir is recorded as having a share ownership of 20 percent. The remaining 10 percent of shares belong to the 26 internal clubs of Persis.
One of the participants of the RUPSLB BM Anjasmara welcomed the presence of three entrepreneurs at PT PSS.
“With the new owner, a young entrepreneur, in which there is the son of President Jokowi, Kevin, a solo male entrepreneur, and Pak Erick who has experience in football, I am sure that Persis will develop more,” he told reporters.
The minority shareholder added that he hopes that the management of Persis Solo can be more professional. In addition, under this new management he also hopes that later Persis Solo can be promoted in Liga 1.
“As the owner of 0.1 percent share, Mas Kaesang invited us to attend the EGMS. This is different from the previous owner,” he said.
He added that in the EGMS, the internal club also proposed to include potential local players in the ranks of the players Exactly Solo.
“The statement delivered by Mas Kaesang is a great relief for us. Mas Kaesang really care about the potential of local players. This is a breath of fresh air for us internal club coaches to be even more enthusiastic about creating young players, “he said.
