Perotti confirmed that the Music Port will be built in Baigorria – Diario El Ciudadano y la Región

Governor Omar Perotti ratified that the Puerto de la Música construction project will be resumed. A work promoted for years that was projected by former president Hermes Binner during the socialist provincial administration.

Perotti revived the discussion of the project with a public-private financing scheme. And he announced that the work will be located in Granadero Baigorria, on the border with Rosario. It will be in the area of ​​the park at the head of the bridge to Victoria, next to the Remanso Valerio fishermen’s neighborhood. It would be financed with profits from private real estate developments that would be enabled at par.

They slipped that the construction of the Puerto de la Música would be in charge of the construction company Pecam. The company from Rosario is building next to the projected property, a mega real estate complex next to the Paraná River called “Urban Development of Mine”, where semi-closed neighborhoods, buildings, a shopping mall, a hypermarket and a branch of the Women’s Sanatorium are being built.

Former governor Antonio Bonfatti and Binner’s roommate – promoter of the project – endorsed the possibility of relocating the project, originally thought of in the coastal area of ​​Rosario that goes from Pellegrini to Cerrito.

Baigorria yes; rosary not

After confirming that Baigorria was the city chosen for the construction of the Puerto de la Música, the mayor of said town Adrián Maglia stated that “having this project in our city is a challenge and at the same time a prize for our way of understanding and promoting growth of Grenadier Baigorria.

“We are privileged to be able to dream of such a cultural offer for citizens, which will position Baigorria in the world and which will mean a leap in category for the city”. In this sense, he highlighted the scope that the Puerto de la Música will have in terms of its convening capacity: “We are talking about a space that will be unique in the country, that will promote cultural tourism in the city, promoting the growth of the city and the region” .

Maglia also made a commitment to “carry out all the necessary steps so that the urban and breathability conditions of the area are correct, both for future visitors and for the residents of the area.” And she affirmed that the initiative that the provincial government will carry out means “an integral growth of the zone”.

Finally, Maglia explained that “a project of such size can directly or indirectly affect different residents of the city and so that this does not happen, or so that this impact is positive, for several months, the Municipality has carried out incessant negotiations before the Government of the Nation, specifically before the Renabap (National Registry of Popular Neighborhoods), dependent on the Ministry of Social Development”.
