Issued Percy TaoAl-Ahly star, the list of his country, South Africa, to play against Benin and Rwanda, this November, as part of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Percy Tau had excused himself from his country’s national team camp last October, for personal reasons, which made him the subject of criticism by technical director Hugo Bruce and the media.
South Africa is among the third group in the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, along with Nigeria, Benin, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and Lesotho.
Bafana Bafana will begin their 2026 World Cup qualifiers campaign against Benin at home on November 13, and a week later they will travel to Rwanda to face them on November 20.
