João Francisco Lima, Pedro Lima’s eldest son, decided to change the plans he had for the future in favor of the younger brothers: Emma, 15, Mia, 12, Max, 9 and Clara, 3. The young man 21 years old was preparing to go to study outside Portugal but with the sudden death of his father decided to change the plans to help care for the four brothers, the result of his father’s relationship with Anna Westerlund, a well-known ceramist.
“Everything was already defined and aligned with the father. But, given what happened, he has already spoken to his mother and warned her that he will give up all of this. He wants to assume the role of head of the family ”, a source told “TV Guia” magazine. This same source added that João Francisco’s desire is “to take the father’s place and ensure that the brothers are well”.
A few days after the actor’s death, the eldest son left him a message on the social networks. João Francisco explained that he had lost his best friend. “You taught me to enjoy the trip. Little did I know it would be so short. I bring you with me in the smile, in the look, in the way, in the hug. I lost my best friend. Now I’m just stupid ”.
Pedro Lima was found dead on June 20, at Abano beach, in Cascais. The actor left the house at dawn and sent messages to two friends to take care of the family. The disappearance of the actor was made known to the authorities by the woman, Anna Westerlund, and the body was found hours later in the water. The actor had deep cuts in the carotids, around the neck, and other cuts spread over the body. The funeral took place this Tuesday, June 23, at the Cascais Hippodrome.
