Pedelec riders with a blood alcohol content of 2.7
A pedelec rider was out and about in Emsland with a blood alcohol content of 2.7 per mille. The police stopped the drunk 35-year-old in Lathen on Saturday. The man had snaked down the street and noticed the officers, the police said on Sunday. A breath alcohol test confirmed the suspicion. The aggressive 35-year-old was first taken to the hospital for a blood test and then taken to police custody to sober up. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the man.
