Payment app Payconiq will stop in the Netherlands as of January 1 – IT Pro – News

Payconiq was a blunder concept from the very first moment.
I did a test for those guys, they didn’t understand Android at all, they only had iOS as their target audience, quite remarkable if you want to be dominant in the market.

What is the purpose of a payment app, uh, pay, I would say. but no:

Bug solved
Unfortunately, we’ve recently discovered a bug in the app. Due to this, it was not possible to make payments with Payconiq. We apologise for any inconvenience you might have experienced.

Really, originally true, the payment app couldn’t pay and calls it a bug, after 6 months of failure.
I pointed it out to the company for many months, to no avail. So this email is 6 (!!) months after it should have worked, how do you do something like that, how do you go to the office of a payment app company every day that can’t pay with its own app?

A mystery.
