Payday 3 will premiere on September 21, but owners of more expensive editions are already playing. And not everyone enjoys the game.
It seems that the biggest hit was for PlayStation users who were given the option to download an older version of the game.
Andreas Hull Penninger, lead producer of Payday 3, confirmed that PS5 owners should wait for the official patch. The problem was resolved within a few hours, but some players did not hide their disappointment over the “delay in early access.” Adding fuel to the fire was the fact that the PS5 release lacked pre-order bonuses. The developers have confirmed that exclusive content will appear in the game only during the official launch.
Less severe but still problematic glitches occurred on other platforms as well. Xbox Series X/S and PC users were unable to access online mode. Owners of the game on the Epic Games Store platform were especially affected, as they were unable to skip the game’s start screen. The studio assures that the problems have now been resolved.
It didn’t take long to fix the bugs, but the players’ disappointment is understandable. The Early Access edition was significantly more expensive.
Payday 3 will be released on September 21 on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The game will be on Game Pass from launch.
