The A7 has been closed in several places this evening after three accidents. The accidents were probably caused by a heavy hailstorm.
The road was closed in both directions at Middenmeer. There were almost two accidents at the same time, more than a kilometer apart. In one of the accidents, a car crashed. The other accident was a head-tail collision involving several cars. There are no injuries, the police report NH News.
Moments later there was also an accident on the A7 at Hoorn. According to eyewitnesses, the collision was caused by a slippery party caused by the hail.
