Al-Ahly player Moamen Zakaria confirmed that he blames his team officials for not supporting him financially or morally during his current illness.
Zakaria said in remarks on Sada Al-Balad channel, that Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the entertainment authority in Saudi Arabia, is the one who guarantees all matters of treatment.
Zakaria said: “I needed financial and moral support from Al-Ahly, but this did not happen. They were supposed to talk to me, but I do not want to talk about these matters in order not to grieve the masses.”
He continued: “Nobody talks to me or asks about me, this should happen at least morally, but I refuse to talk about some of the issues that may upset the masses.”
He added: “I hope for a speedy recovery for the Sheikh family, everyone is talking about incorrect matters regarding my travel dates or my visa, and I am now on my way to the United States to start treatment.”
He concluded: “I have no comment on the news that talks about allocating a sum of money to me from the Ministry of Youth and Sports from Al-Ahly.”
