Park Min-ji had six wins for two consecutive years, becoming the winner with the most wins among active players on the Korean Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) tour.

Park Min-ji traded 3 birdies and carts in the last 3 rounds of the SK Shielders/SK Telecom championship (total prize 1 billion won) held at the Old Course (par 72) at Ravievelle Country Club in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do il 13 and won with a total of 9 strokes under par. 207 did. Park Min-ji beat Ahn Song-i (7 under par, 209 strokes) by two strokes to win the 200 million won prize money.

With this victory, Park Min-ji achieved 6 wins in the season for 2 consecutive years. With this, Park Min-ji surpassed Jang Ha-na (15 wins) with 16 tour wins, becoming the record holder for most wins on the KLPGA Tour among active players. The record for most wins on the KLPGA Tour is 20, held by Ji-ae Shin and Ok-hee Koo, who are currently active on the JLPGA Tour.

Park Min-ji earned 1.47792 billion wins this season alone, after his own record of 1.52137 billion wins last year, and set a record for the second-highest prize money in a single season on the KLPGA Tour. The tour’s total prize money also exceeded 5 billion won. The accumulated prize pool is 5,038.46 million won, second after Jang Ha-na (5.76184 million won).
