Twenty-two teams, including ten of the nineteen stamped World Teams, will be at the start of the 115th edition of the Paris-Tours on Sunday, October 10, in Chartres, announced ASO, the organizer of the event.

After suffering from competition last year in a calendar upset by the Covid, the classic of dead leaves should thus find a very nice plateau.
It will take place without the world champion Julian Alaphilippe, whose Deceuninck-Quick Step training is not engaged. But there will be, potentially, big names in a field of 132 riders.

Among the competing teams, there will be the Jumbo-Visma of Wout Van Aert, the Alpecin-Fenix of Mathieu Van Der Poel, the Bora-Hansgrohe of Peter Sagan or the DSM Team of the outgoing winner, the Dane Casper Pedersen.
It remains to be seen who these teams will line up, knowing that the day before, the Tour of Lombardy is scheduled. For that, we will have to wait a little longer …
But cycling enthusiasts can already make an appointment at Place Châtelet for the start at 11 a.m. or on the 65 km Eurelian route that will take runners to avenue de Grammont in Tours.
