Parade of ships and helicopter show took place in Aktau

news-id-112776" style="display:inline;">On July 13, a solemn celebration of the 30th anniversary of the formation of the maritime units of the Border Guard Service of the KNB and the 31st anniversary of the national security bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held on the Aktau embankment on July 13. The event was opened by an exhibition of special equipment and weapons, where residents could get acquainted with vehicles, as well as weapons and other equipment of the border service.

Then the head of the region congratulated the residents and participants of the celebration. Akim of the region noted the importance of the border service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, thanked the military personnel, as well as their families for serving the Motherland, often in difficult conditions, and noted that the celebration was attended by representatives of the Ural shipyard “Zenith”, which built 30 ships, which today protect the maritime borders of the country.

The event continued with a performance by special forces fighters and dog handlers, who demonstrated hand-to-hand combat techniques, conditionally seized the vessel and detained the border violator using service dogs.

After the servicemen took part in the march, and then the residents were able to see the parade of ships and the show of helicopters.

Border patrol ships marched in formation along the coastline. And they were accompanied by pilots of MI-8 helicopters of the KNB aviation, who demonstrated to the audience the skill of controlling flight equipment.

The event ended with a festive concert.
