The covid-19 pandemic today has surpassed the barrier of one million infected and 50,000 dead worldwide, since December, according to the latest balance of the agency France-Presse, from official data.

According to data collected by the French news agency AFP from the official authorities of the countries, there are already 1,000,036 cases of infection, including 51,718 deaths, in 188 countries and territories, mainly in the United States (234,462 cases, including 5,607 deaths), where the pandemic is currently progressing more rapidly.
