The project developer Panattoni with a new real estate concept is the first tenant in the industrial and logistics quarter Fusion Cologne in Cologne. The new Panattoni Campus Cologne is to combine commercial, light industrial and logistics parks on two floors. From 2026, companies from logistics, industry, production and commerce are to settle here on 45,000 square meters of usable space. The areas can be rented flexibly.
The Panattoni Campus Cologne is part of the production and logistics district, which covers an area of around 550,000 square meters. The area is conveniently located in terms of transport, so the Rhine ports Niehl 1 and 2 and the motorway junction in the north of Cologne are just as close as an efficient transhipment terminal for rail traffic.
“Located in the immediate vicinity of the bimodal container terminal and the Niehler Hafen, it is our aim to become one of the most modern and sustainable quarters for production and logistics,” said Peter Trapp, Managing Director of Fusion Cologne.
“The demand for commercial and logistics space in urban locations is high, but suitable plots of land are hard to find. Fusion Cologne is an innovative district project that uses space as efficiently as possible and will therefore make a difference in the area of innovative settlement options,” added Fred-Markus Bohne, Managing Partner at Panattoni for Germany and Austria.
