The former Mayor of Maule is the one who heads List A, where he will go along with Jorge Aguilar (former director of ByN), Jorge Yunge (former president of Rangers), Arturo Guzmán (former director of Deportes Iquique), Raúl Jofré (former director of Deportes Antofagasta), Alberto Núñez (former treasurer of Cobreloa) and Gabriel Rebolledo (former director of Deportes Puerto Montt).
On the other hand, List B is led by the helmsman of Audax Italiano, who postulates accompanied by Arturo Aguayo (former director of Sebastián Moreno and former president of Huachipato), Eduardo Rey (former helmsman of San Luis), Francisco Corbella (vice president of Unión Española), Eduardo Olivares (general manager of Unión San Felipe), Jaime Pizarro (former director of ByN) and Jorge Salazar (President of Deportes Valdivia).
The appointment will be via Zoom and in it the participants will emit their suffrage in a virtual way, since the commune of Peñalolén, where the headquarters of the governing body is located, is currently in quarantine.
The winning list will be the one that achieves the absolute majority of preferences, which in this case would be 25 votes from a universe of 49 voters. If the 25 preferences are not reached, the choice must be repeated until there is a winner.
The vote to define the new boss of the governing body of national football is given after Moreno has resigned from his post due to a series of conflicts and criticism of his management by a tough opposition bloc, that led him to resign before the end of his period.
