Overweight 43rd woman who couldn’t fit in car shed 27. Dandruff during amazing weight loss.

Andrea Beckman, 37, a former Pizza Hut manager from Missouri, USA, followed a strict diet and exercise regime only to lose a whopping 27 during her transformation

A woman so tall she couldn’t fit in her car lost a staggering 27th.

Andrea Beckman, 37, was 43rd in her worst form but lost 380 pounds to get 15th on gastric bypass.

The former manager of Pizza Hut followed a high-protein diet and exercised daily to lose weight after her bariatric surgery.

Unfortunately, Andrea had a lot of sagging skin due to her weight loss, even after surgery to remove it – an additional procedure would cost around £ 23,000.

The American said: “The insurance only covered a panniculectomy, which removes the sagging skin of the lower abdomen.

“I have extra skin on my inner thighs. My arms are terrible. I have extra skin on my back and stomach. “

She added, “I was considering taking out a second mortgage on my house to cover the operation, but given the pandemic and the fact that I don’t have a steady job, that’s just not an option.”

Andrea has struggled with her weight since childhood but decided to have surgery when she got too tall for her scales.

Andrea said: “I was close to 600 pounds and the highest value the scale hit was 39th (550 pounds).

“It stopped at that point.

“I was so tall that I didn’t know how much I actually weighed.”

This is not the only time Andrea has felt humiliated by her size.

When she was 18 years old, she was asked to get out of a theme park because of her size.

Andrea said, “I had nowhere to go. I literally didn’t fit – I didn’t even fit in my car.

“I felt like I wasn’t alive. I couldn’t work. I had nowhere to go. I couldn’t go to the end of my driveway.

“I’ve tried diet pills, Weight Watchers, the Atkins diet.

“They all worked for a while, but then the old habits came back.”

She had gastric bypass in 2015 and lost 7th place within five months.

For the next three and a half years, Andrea worked hard to lose more weight.

Even after bariatric surgery, patients can gain weight or plateau if they don’t exercise and watch what they eat.

She has since switched from a British size 38 to an 18.

The super leaner claims the counseling helped her stay on track.

She said, “I ate when I was bored, when I was sad, when I was happy.

“I ate snacks all the time during my shift at work. I ate pizza and fries and then got Taco Bell or McDonald’s on the way home. “

Now Andrea will have coffee and a protein shake for breakfast, chicken salad or turkey salad for lunch and dinner, and nuts as a snack.

Andrea said: “I am absolutely happy and would not change it with the extra skin. I have a life now.

“I can go places, I can walk around with my nephew. I don’t have that many doors in my face, men will keep the door open now. “

“I advise women to seek advice and find out why they are overeating, otherwise habits will return.”
