Outsourcing of Civil Servants Replaced by Outsourcing, This is the Salary Received!

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The government plans to remove honorary staff in Ministries/Institutions (K/L) in 2023.

The Head of the Legal Public Relations and Cooperation Bureau of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Satya Pratama said that later the honorarium would be replaced by a third party as an outsourced worker.

“Instead of outsourcing,” he told CNBC Indonesia.

According to him, currently honorary staff in K/L have begun to be replaced with outsourced workers. Such as security guards, drivers to administrative staff.

“Currently, the average number of drivers, security guards, couriers, cleaners, service workers, secretaries, administrators has been outsourced (PPNPN),” he explained.

With this change, in the future there will only be Civil Servants (PNS) and outsourced employees.

Previously, the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB) Tjahjo Kumolo ensured that there would be no more honorary workers in government agencies starting in 2023.

This policy is contained in Government Regulation (PP) Number 49 of 2018 concerning Management of Government Employees with Work Agreements. In this regulation, non-PNS employees in government agencies will still carry out their duties for a maximum of five years when the regulation takes effect or 2023.
