Summer time – swimming pool time! Here you can find out which Corona rules apply in SWR3Land and in which outdoor pools you can splash around.
It’s summer in SWR3Land! But that is also different in times of Corona. Because: Because of the pandemic, special rules and requirements apply to swimming pools.
In Baden-Württemberg have been allowed to reopen outdoor pools since the beginning of June – subject to conditions. This permit includes outdoor, indoor, thermal and fun pools. The prerequisite is that the operators submit an appropriate hygiene concept. In general, the distance rule of at least 1.5 meters also applies here.
The swimming pools must limit the number of bathers. The calculation basis here is the water and lying area. The following applies in both places: Each person must have ten square meters available. In the non-swimmer pool it must be four square meters. In addition, the same path may not be used to enter and exit the pool.
In many bathrooms, guests have to reserve a seat in advance and cannot gain access without prior notice. The reason: bathrooms should avoid queues.
Also in Rhineland-Palatinate bathing is allowed again. Swimming pools have been reopened here since May 27th. A distance of at least 1.5 meters must be maintained on the systems.
In both federal states, bathers have to provide their contact details – similar to the restaurant. In this way, chains of infection can be traced more quickly in the event of a corona outbreak.
