An oral treatment (PaxlovidTM) against COVID-19 is available free of charge in pharmacies. It can be prescribed by a pharmacist, a specialized nurse practitioner or a doctor.

This treatment is for people with COVID-19 who are at high risk of complications. Paxlovid™ is intended to reduce the severity of symptoms of COVID-19. It must be started within 5 days of the onset of symptoms.
How to benefit from the treatment?
- Your symptoms must have been present for 5 days or less.
- You must take a screening test (rapid test distributed in pharmacies or screening clinics) at the onset of symptoms.
- If your result is positive and your situation meets the eligibility criteria, first call your pharmacist to find out what to do.
