DEPOK, KOMPAS.comVaccinations Covid-19 phase two in Depok, West Java, will be carried out proportionally. The reason is that Depok has only received 33,400 doses vaccine Covid-19 from the West Java Provincial Government, while the need for the proposed vaccine is more than that.

“In essence, we will accommodate all people who meet the criteria but return to the number of vaccines given,” said the Head of the Depok City Health Office, Novarita, when contacted. Kompas.com, Monday (1/3/2021).

Novarita was reluctant to reveal the recommended dosage he would send to the West Java Provincial Government.

Some circles will accept vaccination Covid-19 level two among them are members of the TNI, Police, ASN, structural offices, teacher, journalists, and the elderly.

From that list, there are several groups that will be vaccinated 100 percent.

“Officials (structural), then TNI / Polri, it must be 100 percent,” said Novarita.

“Officials from agencies such as the DPRD must also be 100 percent,” he added.

The rest, for the time being, other groups such as educators, the elderly, market traders, and other public service officers will only be partially vaccinated, while waiting for the next vaccine distribution to be sent by the West Java Provincial Government.

Take, for example, educators. Last week, the Depok City Education Office stated that it had sent a proposal for 18,850 educators to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

However, due to the insufficient number of vaccines available, only 3,420 or 18 percent of them will receive the vaccine.

“Teachers are carried out (vaccination) at the puskesmas. So one puskesmas carries out (vaccinations for) approximately 90 teachers. So it remains only to arrange who comes first,” said Novarita.

“When we get (vaccines) again, we will accommodate those that are lacking, those that have not been able to (vaccines) we will accommodate,” he added.

However, he guaranteed that vaccinations would be carried out simultaneously for all groups since yesterday.

This means that neither party gets it first nor later Covid-19 vaccination this stage two.
