One thing Scholes didn’t want to see again at MU

Jakarta

Manchester United lowered his unusual formation when he visited the cage Leicester City. Paul Scholes said he didn’t want to see one more thing.

At King Power Stadium, Saturday (26/12/2020) early morning WIB, MU drew 2-2 with Leicester. The Red Devils took the lead via Marcus Rashford, leveled by Harvey Barnes before the break.

MU returned to excel in the second half via Bruno Fernandes. However, that advantage vanished after Jamie Vardy’s shot was deflected by Axel Tuanzebe.

Manager MU, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, installed Victor Lindelof as a right-back in that match. Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s injury is the cause.

Scholes assessed this as not going well. He wanted a better option to coat Wan-Bissaka.

“I think Lindelof is at right-back, I don’t think we’ll see him again. I hope we don’t see him again. There must be better options than that,” said Scholes. BT Sport.

“I thought Tuanzebe was amazing when he came off the bench, because Barnes was really threatening.”

“United, really, I think they were better when they made the substitutions. I think they left the best players on the bench,” he added.

With this draw, MU now sits in fourth place in the Premier League standings with 27 points, the result of 14 plays. MU has never collapsed in seven away trips, with a record of six wins and one draw.
