One of the wanted brothers was responsible for a series of stabbings in Canada | NOW

One of the two brothers who last month engaged in a major manhunt in Canada is responsible for the deaths of all 11 victims. This was announced Thursday by Canadian police. His brother was involved in the preparations for the stabbings.

According to police, 30-year-old Myles Sanderson stabbed 11 people to death and injured 18. His brother Damien was among the victims.

On 4 September, several stabbings occurred in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The victims lived in the James Smith Cree Nation community and the nearby town of Weldon.

Damien’s body was found the day after the stabbing. The police already thought he had been murdered by Myles. After a four-day manhunt, Myles was also found. He died after his arrest of him. He probably took his own life.

The motive for the murders is unknown. Myles had a violent criminal past, according to Canadian media. He has been convicted many times, including assaulting, threats, theft and assaulting a police officer.
