The district command of PSP Braga is preparing to intensify the inspection of public spaces and usual places of meetings for alcohol consumption on the public road in the cities of Braga, Guimarães, Famalicão and Barcelos, it was announced today.
In a statement, that police entity recalls the new resolution of the council of ministers in which a new administrative regime was approved for various situations of non-compliance with the new rules, whose objective is to contain and mitigate the covid-19.
Agglomerations with more than 20 people will be targeted by the police, with fines for those who do not comply, as well as for alcohol consumption on the public road, a situation that has been observed in some parts of Minho.
According to the PSP, the inspection will also focus on places open to the public, observing the rules of occupation, permanence and physical distance, as well as the use of masks or visors in these places and in other public or service buildings.
The police will also check if the masks are being used in educational establishments and daycare centers, in theaters, cinema or similar, as well as in public passenger transport.
PSP will verify that the establishments of commerce and services are meeting the schedules defined for the State of Alert in which we currently live.
