Today, June 27, is the anniversary of the departure of the 18-year-old Muharram Fouad, who is considered one of the most famous stars of beautiful time.
Fouad was born on June 25, 1934, and the great director Henri Barakat presented it in the movie “Hassan and Naima” in front of Souad Hosni. It was then twenty-five years old, and he presented nearly 900 songs, 13 cinematographic films, and two singing plays during his artistic career.
In singing, Muharram Fouad collaborated with composer Baligh Hamdi, who was like a brother and friend for him since childhood, as well as musician Farid al-Atrash, who loved his songs from a young age.
