The Cambrésienne céiste Amandine Lhote, who was a member of the France pole of Nancy and who participated in the Rio Games in 2016, for her part blows its 34 candles. Finally, the walker from Saint-Nabord Clémence Beretta, French 5,000m champion in 2018 and 2019 and who has a good chance of following in the footsteps of her two elders, will now have 23 years on the clock.

Eight years ago, on December 22, 2012, the ASNL, which was the red lantern of Ligue 1, played an extremely important match against Bastia at the stadium… Jean-Laville de Gueugnon (the match was played on neutral ground because the Bastiais stadium was suspended for incidents at the start of the season). This meeting was a complete rout for Nancy, led 3-0 after 26 minutes and finally defeated 4-2. A defeat which sealed the departure of Jean Fernandez and several players (André Luiz, Haïdara, Mollo…), as well as the start of the maintenance operation with Patrick Gabriel, which narrowly failed in the end.
