Muscat: Iran has released a Danish citizen and two Austrian citizens following Oman’s intervention. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the freed people will be flown to Muscat by the Oman Royal Air Force and after that they will be handed over to their respective countries. Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg thanked Oman for playing an important role in releasing the citizens.
