The flights of the winter season at Olbia airport.
Starting from Sunday 31 October the Winter 21/22 season at Olbia Airport, in which the international connections with Amsterdam (operated by Transavia in codeshare with KLM) e Barcelona, con la low cost Vueling, the latter operated starting from the Christmas holidays.
Regarding the network of domestic winter flights, Volotea as well as the links in territorial continuity with Milan Linate and Rome Fiumicino, will connect Olbia with Bologna, Verona e Torino to which will be added, during the Christmas holidays, Bergamo, Naples e Venezia.
La low cost easyJet will intensify the frequencies of the consolidated connection with Milano Malpensa and as a novelty it will extend the route with Bergamo.
The results of the summer season.
Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is preparing to close the season Summer 2021 with results considered quite satisfactory, given the particular period of crisis experienced by the sector due to the pandemic. The airport has distinguished itself in the panorama of Italian airports among the top performers in terms of passenger traffic, highlighting in the period from January to August 2021 of above-average results (-34% Vs 2019 against the -69% than the average of Italian airports)
The performances recorded in the domestic segment growing by + 3% compared to the same period of 2019. During Summer 21 the airport network was enriched also thanks to the entry of 4 new companies (Blueair, Egoairways, Lumiwings and Wizz Air) and activation of 24 new links.
The result of theGeneral Aviation which in the period from January to September 2021 shows significant increases compared to the same period of 2019: movements + 25% e tonnage + 10%.
