Paris Hilton: – – I was abused

Wednesday night, the news agency reports Reuters on Twitter that reality star Paris Hilton brutally honestly says that she was abused at a boarding school as a teenager.

She does this under The Accountability for the Congregate Care Act, an organization that works to establish the best treatment centers for teenagers, writes Reuters.

– Today I do not come here as Paris Hilton, but as someone who has survived, she says in the speech, and continues:

– Senator Jeff Merkley and Ro Khanna from Congress, thank you for leading and supporting The Accountability for the Congregate Care Act. And for you to work for an end to sexual abuse. I am sure this will create a world where all teenagers have the support and opportunities they need to be healed, flourish and not just survive.

Furthermore, Hilton says that she struggled to sleep for 20 years, after memories of physical violence, the feeling of loneliness and everything that followed the pressure when she closed her eyes.

“These were not just sleep problems, it was trauma,” she says.

The incident is said to have taken place when the reality star was 16 years old.
