A barrel of crude oil traded today with low values in the international markets of New York and London.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude, which operates on the New York futures market (Nymex), fell 0.84% this morning and traded at US $ 52.86 a barrel in contracts with delivery in February.
Similarly, Brent oil from the North Sea, which does so on the London electronic market (ICE), lost 0.78% and the barrel was agreed at US $ 55.64 but in the contracts for March, according to with what was reported by the Bloomberg agency.
Meanwhile, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) reported that its crude oil basket traded yesterday at US $ 55.75 a barrel, compared to US $ 54.85 last Tuesday, which represented an increase of 1 , 64%. (Télam)
