Neymar makes fun of DFB referee Siebert

Neymar is many things. He is the king of the swallows, roll-off expert, flying artist and fast. When he hits the door, he likes to cheer. Like so many of his peers, he has perfected cheering on him. This annoys German referee Daniel Siebert. He warns him. All hell broke loose on the internet.
Referee Daniel Siebert will represent the German Football Association at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The 38-year-old from Berlin was the only representative of Germany to enter the FIFA list published in May. There he was angry at the disrespect of the Berlin referee, who had warned him, even though he demonstrably did nothing. Neymar overwhelmed the 38-year-old with a flurry of tweets. He once he just spelled the name “Daniel Siebert” in big capital letters and added three emojis. They should represent his celebration of the goal.
Sippel also criticizes Siebert
With the power of his followers, Neymar catapulted the name of the German FIFA referee into the orbit of outrage that Siebert found himself on Wednesday anyway. As part of a general showdown with the performances of the Bundesliga referees in the last two days, Siebert also did not come out unscathed.
Siebert was used on the fifth day of the Bundesliga match between Borussia Dortmund and TSG Hoffenheim. There he denied the hosts a penalty after a hand ball by Hoffenheim’s Ozan Kabak. An absolutely wrong decision, as Peter Sippel, Bundesliga sporting director at the DFB explained, in a flash analysis of the league referee’s unfortunate handball ratings.
Neymar will not have noticed this belated flash analysis by the DFB. The Brazilian, who has a reputation as an actor, pretended to be innocent and immersed himself in the reactions of the internet. Daniel Siebert has not yet commented on the attacks. Nothing was known about possible UEFA investigations in the morning.
